September 30, 2009 | Michael Sean Wright

Dr. Drew Pinsky is board-certified in addiction medicine, an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the Keck USC School of Medicine and is producer and host of VH1′s “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” and the long-running radio advice series “Loveline.

The doctor says he keeps track of his different roles and responsibilities using today’s technology including Twitter, where he has more than 1.5 million followers.

That busy life and background made him a great selection to participate in a conference panel called “Twitter and celebrity: A match made in heaven?”

The panel was the concluding session of the first day of the 140 | The Twitter Conference LA organized by The Parnassus Group in Los Angeles, Calif., where the how-tos of Twitter and its tools for business development were discussed.

The two-day conference with two dozen panel discussions brought together the worlds of business and celebrity and focused on getting the most out of the real-time web.

Michael Sean Wright, the founder of nicefishfilms and a live documentary filmmaker, writer and tech nut, interviewed Dr. Pinsky for building43 at the Twitter conference.
